Is Chiraq Taking Over?



We all knew about Chief Keef a while ago and the impact he made in hip-hop but now, new Chicago bred rappers are surfacing and making a splash in the rap game. Chiraq rappers like Fredo Santana, Lil Herb, and Lil Bibby are receiving cosigns from, as well as featuring on songs with major industry rappers. Nicki Minaj recently released a single call "Chi-Raq" which features Lil Herb. He is as good as gold in the rap game after this song. Chiraq is slowly emerging as a forefront in the industry.

Rick Ross-Mastermind

At the end of the week, Rick Ross's 6th album, Mastermind, is #1 on the charts. He has sold 179,000 units this week which is 67,000 more units that Pharrell's Album GIRL. This album was produced by Puff Daddy himself so it was bound to be one of Ross's best albums. There is a lot of talk about the disappointment of this album but numbers don't lie and Rozay is #1.
